This role of Contract Administrator involves managing the contract between the employer and building contractor. At MPS we have worked on numerous projects as Contract Administrator and have the necessary experience and qualities to fulfil the role.
Contract Administrator Service:
- Inviting, processing and reviewing tenders
- Preparing contract documents for formal execution
- Administering change control procedures
- Seeking instructions from the client in relation to the building contract
- Issuing instructions such as contract variations, or relating to adjusting
- Prime cost sums or making good defects
- Considering contractual claims
- Chairing construction progress meetings and preparing minutes
- Preparing and issuing construction progress reports to the Client
- Co-ordinating and instructing site inspectors and other third parties
- Agreeing all commissioning and testing procedures
- Agreeing all defects reporting procedures
- Ensuring that project documentation is issued to the Client
- Issuing certificates of practical completion and interim certificates
- Collating and issuing schedules of defects
- Issuing the certificate of making good defects
- Issuing the final certificate
