MPS Chartered Surveyors offer a Fund Monitoring service, also known as Monitoring Surveyor, in Manchester, the North West, West Yorkshire and North Wales.
Our role of Fund Monitor, enables us to work in conjunction with funding institutions such as banks and pension funds to safeguard their interests by conducting comprehensive due diligence.

Fund Monitoring Service
Initial Report
- Verify all project costs and assess the development budget
- Verify that the development programme is achievable
- Review the procurement route and building contract proposed
- Asses the level of design documentation and whether it is satisfactory to deliver the project
- Check the suitability of the design team, their terms of engagement, professional indemnity insurance and collateral warranties
- Review the status of statutory applications, approvals etc
- Ensure compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007
- Obtain copies of the Contractor's insurances as required by the contract and comment on their adequacy
- Review the projected cash flow for the scheme and comment on build costs
Progress Report
- Comment on the Quantity Surveyor's valuation
- Certify that the works have been completed in accordance with the Building Contract
- Confirm that the Professional Team have been paid monies due
- Confirm the anticipated date of Practical Completion
- Comment on any Contractor's claims
- Provide a recommendation for draw-down of funds and a cost to complete
